

MUSCAT: Barceló Hotel Group has signed an agreement with Ali Bin Humaid Bin Said Al Saadi Trading for the development of a new hotel project in Muscat, marking a significant step in the brand’s expansion within the Sultanate of Oman.
The agreement reflects a shared commitment to delivering a high-quality hospitality destination that aligns international standards with Oman’s growing demand for premium tourism and business experiences.
The signing ceremony was attended by senior representatives from both parties, including Carlos, Director of Project Development, and David Faull, General Manager of Barceló Mussanah Resort.
The upcoming project is expected to support Oman’s tourism development strategy by introducing a new hospitality offering aligned with the country’s vision for sustainable tourism growth and investment attraction.
Representatives from both sides highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships in strengthening the hospitality sector and reinforcing Oman’s position as a leading regional destination. Further details of the project will be announced at a later stage.
